Loop — Terms of Service

1. Parties

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you ("user") and Dilay Demirgan, the developer of the Loop application ("Loop", "the app", "the service"), from the moment you begin using Loop.

2. Service Description

Loop is a mobile application that helps users track their menstrual cycle, perform phase-based personal observations, and benefit from psychology-grounded content.

What Loop IS

• A menstrual cycle tracking application
• A phase-based information and personal observation tool
• A self-awareness tool with content informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

What Loop IS NOT

• ❌ Not a medical device. Loop does not diagnose or treat any condition.
• ❌ Not a contraceptive app. Do not rely on Loop to prevent pregnancy.
• ❌ Not psychotherapy. Loop does not replace a mental health professional. For clinical concerns, please consult a qualified specialist.
• ❌ Not a disease prediction tool. If you experience cycle irregularities or pain, please consult a doctor.

3. Registration and Account

3.1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 17 years old.
• You must provide a valid email address.
• You agree that the information you provide is accurate.

3.2. Account Security

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3.3. Account Ownership

• A person may have only one Loop account.
• You may not transfer your account to anyone else.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Loop, you agree NOT to:

• Use Loop for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to others' accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• Use automated methods (bots, scrapers) to access the service
• Create excessive numbers of accounts
• Attempt to compromise system security
• Try to access other users' data (except via Partner Mode, with their consent)
• Generate unlawful, harassing, or harmful content

Violation may result in your account being suspended or deleted without warning.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Our Rights

• The Loop logo, icon, brand name (LOOP NOTE — trademark registration in progress at the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office), and design belong to Dilay Demirgan.
• App content (CBT exercises, observation prompts, phase explanations) is the original work of Loop and may not be copied without permission.

5.2. Your Rights

• The data you enter into Loop belongs to you.
• Loop processes this data only to provide service to you.
• When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted.

5.3. License You Grant

For the data you enter into Loop, you grant a limited, revocable license to use your data solely to provide the service to you. This license ends when you delete your account.

6. Service Fees

Loop is currently free. Paid subscription features may be added in the future; in such cases, all features available in the free tier today will remain free for existing users. Any new paid features will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

7. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that Loop will be uninterrupted. Brief outages may occur due to maintenance, updates, or server issues. We will try to announce known outages in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Health Responsibility

The information in Loop is general in nature and does not replace medical advice. Always consult a doctor or mental health professional for health-related decisions. Loop is not liable for outcomes resulting from health decisions made based on information in the app.

8.2. Prediction Accuracy

Cycle predictions are based on statistical models and may be inaccurate. Loop: - Does not guarantee pregnancy prevention - Does not guarantee accuracy of ovulation predictions - Is not responsible for decisions made based on predictions

8.3. Data Loss

We back up data with reasonable diligence, but we cannot be held liable for damages resulting from data loss. We recommend keeping your own copies of important records.

8.4. General Liability Cap

To the extent permitted by law, Loop's total liability is limited to the total amount you paid to Loop in the past 12 months (which is zero for free use).

9. Deleting Your Account

You may delete your account at any time: - In-app: Settings → Delete My Account - Via email: neuropathapps@gmail.com

Account deletion is completed within 30 days. After this period, your data cannot be recovered.

10. Account Suspension

We may suspend or delete your account without notice in the following cases: - Violation of these Terms of Service - Unlawful use - Harm to other users or system security - Request from authorities

11. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service. For material changes, we will: - Notify you in-app and via email - Provide at least 30 days' notice - Allow you to delete your account if you do not agree

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes will be resolved before the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Ankara, Türkiye. Your right to apply to consumer arbitration boards in consumer disputes is reserved.

If you reside in the EU, you do not lose your right to seek protection under your country's consumer protection mechanisms.
